It was such an honour to be awarded The British Chiropractic Association's 'Chiropractors Chiropractor Award of 2018' on Saturday the 13th October 2018 in Birmingham. Thank you so very much to everyone who voted for me from the BCA.
It is such an honour to be a chiropractor and have this amazing profession where we everyday can make a difference in small or big ways to our patients health and well being. I love it more each day and it makes me get up everyone morning with a smile ready to serve our patients. As we love this work so much, my 17 year old daughter Tilda Hughes came up with the campaign called 'ChiroGlobal', where we have asked chiropractors from all over the world to share a one minute film with us of why they love being a chiropractor. The response has been amazing!
We have received and shared films from all over the world, from chiropractors from every different kind of school and philosophy. The overall message from our films, is that we all love doing what we doing, as we can see the positive effects our care has on our patients.
We will share the summary film shortly and have dedicated this campaign to 'The World Spine Day 2018', and will continue sharing the films as long as they come in as there are so many wonderful and positive messages coming from all over the world. What we hope is that people will not ignore back pain anymore but get up and move more and get help from professional manual therapists when needed. Thank you all so much!
